With India B poised to make a strong push for the trophy, Suryakumar Yadav’s return could be the X-factor they need to clinch the title.

Surya complained of a thumb injury before the pre-season Buchi Babu Invitational when he had problem in gripping the bat. The batter, however, has now been cleared and now will take part in the third and final round fixture.

Suryakumar Yadav missed the opening two fixtures of the Duleep Trophy 2024 after failing to recover from his thumb injury but is set to return to action with India B in the final-round clash against Shreyas Iyer's India D starting on September 19.
