HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Feb. 26 the opening of three new federally funded electric vehicle charging stations in northern and central Pa., built using funds from the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program.

Federal buildings across the US have been ordered to shut off electric-vehicle chargers, according to a person familiar with the matter, the latest move to rescind pro-EV initiatives in President Donald Trump’s first months in office.

Reports have indicated the General Services Administration under President Trump has or soon will order EV chargers shut off.
