GRAND FORKS — A single-vehicle crash in rural Polk County, Minnesota, claimed a life on Sunday, Sept. 15.

One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Polk County on Sunday. Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash on Polk County Road 41 in King Township near McIntosh around 3:30 p.m. First responders found a vehicle in flames.

Officials found a single occupant dead inside the vehicle. The body was taken to the University of North Dakota Forensic Pathology for identification.
