Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told European Union foreign-policy chief Kaja Kallas that Tehran isn’t going to engage in nuclear talks with the U.S. for now, a person briefed on the call between the two officials on Saturday said.

European foreign ministers told their Iranian counterpart in a call on Monday to return to nuclear negotiations with the U.S. and refrain from escalating conflict with Israel, to which Iran's foreign minister said Tehran's priority was to confront Israel for now,

The two sides were scheduled to meet for a sixth round of negotiations on Sunday. Oman, which was set to host the talks, said on Saturday that this round had been canceled.
