Pat McAfee reportedly banned NFL insider Adam Schefter from his show after his ESPN colleague snubbed him for a rival program in March. The claim was made by The Athletic on Thursday morning.
McAfee reportedly wanted Schefter to appear on his show. However, Schefter reportedly couldn’t make it since he was tied up with a free agency special on ESPN2.
Sources said that the main issue stemmed from one incident. One afternoon, McAfee wanted Schefter on his program. Schefter was appearing on an ESPN2 free agency special and was unable to make it.
Pat McAfee responded Thursday to reports that he banned Adam Schefter from his show. The Pat McAfee Show “I learned a lot about my business this morning in another article,” McAfee said on air.
But Schefter was unable to, as he was appearing on the free agency special airing on ESPN2 at the time, resulting in his apparently being “banished” from McAfee’s show ever since.
