Nearly all evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted for communities in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties affected by the Bridge Fire after it recently became California's largest actively burning wildfire.

An emergency declaration for the Bridge fire burning in the mountain regions of Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties was ratified by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

All evacuations were officially lifted for Southern California residents who affected by the destructive Bridge Fire in San Bernardino and Los Angeles counties. KTLA's Shelby Nelson reports on.

As fire crews worked around the clock to gain control of the Bridge Fire burning the San Gabriel Mountains, at least one evacuation order in the Wrightwood area was scaled back to an evacuation warning Tuesday.
