Even though Endicott College students are on Thanksgiving break, they’re still stepping up to help Jeremy Cole’s family days.

The Newbury Fire Department responded just after midnight to the serious motor vehicle crash on I-95 northbound near Exit 81 and found two passenger cars had crashed head-on.

The fatal crash occurred around midnight on Wednesday when Cole was driving home early Thanksgiving morning after leaving his evening shift on campus, according to a statement from Kerry Ramsdell, Endicott College chief of police.
