Brian Schottenheimer hasn’t had much time to reflect since being named the Cowboys head coach. He’s had a staff to assemble, personnel decisions to address and a scouting combine to attend. Still, his life has been pointed toward this opportunity.

The Dallas Cowboys are hoping for better results in 2025 after parting ways with head coach Mike McCarthy last month. They've since promoted offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to the position and will look to improve upon their uncharacteristically low 20.

The new Dallas coach wanted his whole staff in Indy because "things get lost" when everyone isn't in the same place, he said.
