A first-ever collaboration between the National Gallery of Art and the Smithsonian examines the birth of natural history.

Animals: Art, Science and Sound is open at the British Library until August 28. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue by curators Malini Roy, Cam Sharp Jones, and Cheryl Tipp.
