AUSTIN, Texas — Several train cars derailed early Tuesday morning in Downtown Austin. Seven cars turned over around 3:45 a.m. off the train tracks by East Sixth Street and Robert T. Martinez Jr. Street, according to a social media post from the Austin Fire Department (AFD).
