Jurickson Profar has agreed to a contract with the Atlanta Braves according to Jeff Passan. Profar was a possible free agent target for the Reds. He's signing a three-year, $42 million deal with the Braves according to Bob Nightengale.

Profar, one-time Texas infielder, now 32, broke into the big leagues at 19 but has been hampered by lack of playing time and uncertainty over how, when, and where he should be used. According to media reports, he had been pursued by several other clubs – including San Diego and Philadelphia – seeking to beef up their batting orders.

The Atlanta Braves have already stolen free agent outfielder Jurickson Profar from the San Diego Padres, but they could look to poach Ha-Seong Kim, too.

The outfielder is set to make $12 million in 2025 and $15 million in each of the following two seasons, according to a release.

Atlanta agreed to terms on a three-year, $42 million contract with Profar on Thursday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
