Daylight saving time (DST) is due to go into effect across most, but not all, of the United States and its territories on Sunday at 2 a.m. local time. However two American states, and five territories, are exempt either in part or in full.
At 2 a.m., clocks in most parts of the United States will spring forward one hour as daylight saving time begins.
