Eberflus will be the Cowboys' third defensive coordinator in three years, succeeding Mike Zimmer in 2024 and Dan Quinn in 2023. Ideally, he can not only bring them continuity, but help persuade some key free agents to stay in town.

Andre Curtis, Dave Borgonzi and Aaron Whitecotton are slated to work closely with DC Matt Eberflus after joining Dallas’ staff.
