If you choose Tinted app icons rather than the Dark style, iOS applies a different algorithm to change the colors of icons. Tinted icons feature an accent color on a dark black background.

Under the Effects tab, you can change your image's colors by going to Filters, Effects, or using one of the Apps. The Effects menu in the Effects tab only offers one color-changing tool: Duotone.
