Following the official announcement of the Severance Season 3 renewal last March, the acclaimed sci-fi drama has now received a brand new update for its next installment. It has been confirmed that executive producer Ben Stiller will not be directing Season 3 for the first time since the show debuted in 2022.

Severance was renewed for a third season on March 21, the same day that the season 2 finale aired on Apple TV+. While no premiere date is set for the third season yet, it's sure to look quite different this time around without Stiller at the helm.
