OMAHA, Neb. — The high-stakes game LSU vs. UCLA has been delayed due to weather on Monday, according to NCAA Baseball. It happened during the third inning. LSU leads the game 5-3. Fans were directed to the concourse area amid severe weather, officials said.

LSU baseball and UCLA will square off in Game 8 of the 2025 College World Series on Monday night. Both programs began their Omaha trip 1-0, earning a spot in the winner's bracket. LSU beat Arkansas 4-1 thanks to a stellar outing from Kade Anderson.

Thanks to Anderson’s outing, LSU’s pitching staff is set up well for Monday’s game. The Tigers will hand the ball to Anthony Eyanson, a SoCal native who grew up just 45 minutes from the UCLA campus in Lakewood, Calif.
