Ronny Mauricio and Juan Soto homered in the seventh inning, and the New York Mets beat the San Francisco Giants 5-3 to match a season best with their seventh straight win.

After the game, Soto told reporters that he was trying to follow up his teammate Ronny Mauricio’s blast into McCovey Cove with a splash hit of his own. Unfortunately for Soto, he hit an opposite field home run.
