Mayde Creek (Texas) four-star edge-rusher Kosi Okpala is set to announce his college commitment Thursday at 10 a.m. CT. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound edge-rusher, out of Houston, is down to a final four of Baylor, Miami, Penn State and Texas.

Two more Texas baseball players entered the transfer portal on Monday, making it 14 Longhorns from the 2025 roster to go portaling this offseason. Outfielder Easton Winfield and lefthanded pitcher Bryce Navarre became the latest Texas players to enter the portal.

On Tuesday, the Longhorns pitching depth continued to take a hit. Right-hander Drew Rerick entered the transfer portal, according to Kendall Rogers. After one year with Texas, he will now look to make his mark with a new program.
