A man was shot and critically wounded Wednesday afternoon on busy Clark Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.At 3:58 p.m., a 34-year-old man approached some people on the sidewalk and a fight began.

The man, 34, approached a group of people, and an argument ensued about 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of North Clark Street, police said. He was shot in his chest and hospitalized in critical condition.
