A chaotic Canadian Grand Prix shakes up the Formula One standings as Mercedes takes its first win of the season and team tensions flare at McLaren.
The Canada Grand Prix, the 10th race of the season in the Formula 1 was won by George Russell, the Great Britain driver of the Mercedes team. The race, held at the 4.3-kilometer Gilles-Villeneuve Circuit in the city of Montreal, was held over 70 laps.
Lando Norris’ chances at the 2025 Formula 1 championship took a massive hit in Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix. Norris crashed himself out of the race when he inexplicably tried to pass McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri for fourth place with less than five laps left.
Las Vegas is one of three U.S. cities to host a race weekend on the current calendar, alongside Miami and Austin.
