Storm Bert has brought heavy snowfall, rain and strong winds as it sweeps through parts of the UK, causing widespread disruption. Snow has fallen across Scotland and parts of northern and central England, alongside the heavy rain and wind that has also hit southern England and Wales.

A man in 60s was confirmed dead at the scene in Hampshire, while a 34-year-old man was pronounced dead shortly after police arrived at the scene in West Yorkshire

A futher six yellow warnings for rain and wind are in place across the UK. The Met Office is calling Storm Bert a "multi-hazard weather event". Rail companies urged passengers to avoid travelling to certain areas, while a number of roads have been closed.
