Several vehicles have been abandoned in flood water after a Devon river burst its banks during Storm Bert. Cars and trucks have been stranded in deep water in roads around Teigngrace, near Newton Abbot, after the River Teign flooded.

Storm Bert is battering Devon and Cornwall with flood warnings in place, fallen trees across the region and many properties without power. The Environment Agency has issued 13 flood warnings and 33 flood alerts for Devon,
