N EW YORK (AP) - Call it a symphony for dissolution. American thrash metal giants Megadeth have announced their forthcoming album will be their last. They will also embark on a farewell tour in 2026.

Dave Mustaine made a huge announcement about Megadeth recently, but that only means Metallica is the ultimate winner.

In the meantime, Mustaine and Megadeth are gearing up for the European tour, which kicks off in Helsinki on January 20th and will run to the end of February. “I’m so excited,” Mustaine says.
