Earlier this offseason, former Chicago Bears quarterback Rex Grossman spoke to CardPlayer.com about Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix and his expectations for the school year. Grossman, a star quarterback at Florida who went to the Super Bowl with the Chicago Bears, believes that the second-year quarterback will have a monstrous year in 2025.

Further compounding the issue is that the Broncos had a rather unenviable rushing attack in 2024, one that required a whole lot of repairing over the last several months. Jared Dubin of CBS Sports feels that Denver's ground game will remain its most significant obstacle heading into 2025.

Start with Zach Allen, D.J. Jones, John Franklin-Myers, self-proclaimed “sixth man of the year” Malcolm Roach and rookie third-rounder Sai’vion Jones. That leaves a potential battle between Eyioma Uwazurike and Jordan Jackson for a sixth spot.

The Broncos made another round of front-office promotions this summer, naming Kelly Kleine Van Calligan and Tony Lazzaro vice presidents along with a handful of other moves.

The Denver Broncos were without one of their top players in practice this week as second-team All-Pro outside linebacker Nik Bonitto recovered from a procedure to remove a bone spur on his foot. Coach Sean Payton said Thursday in his post-practice media availability that Bonitto aims to return to the field next week and could see action in the preseason game against the Saints on Aug.

As a corresponding move, Luca Evans of the Denver Post reports defensive back Gregory Junior is being waived with an injury designation. A Jaguars sixth-round pick in 2022, Junior has appeared in 10 career games. He had joined the Broncos on Aug. 10.

Barber made his list shortly after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- the team for which he played his entire 16-year career -- unveiled their "Bucco Bruce" throwback jerseys in July. At No. 5, Barber listed the New England Patriots with their fan favorite red "Pat Patriot" ensemble.
