President Trump suggested in an interview with former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino on Monday that Republicans should “take over” the voting process in more than a dozen states ahead of the November midterms.

Students at Dunlap High School participated in a mock election organized by the League of Women Voters of Greater Peoria, the Peoria County Election Commission, and civics teacher Ty Martin, to gain hands-on experience with the voting process and encourage long-term civic participation.
