Thousands took to downtown Los Angeles on Thanksgiving morning to participate in the annual Turkey Trot, which raises money for the Midnight Mission.

Thanksgiving got off to a running start in Terre Haute with the Turkey Trot. This year marks the eleventh trot in the city, and the runners lined the streets downtown near Hulman Center. All race proceeds and canned foods will go to local soup kitchens and food pantries.

Thanksgiving tradition, occurred on Thursday morning. Temperatures were a brisk sub-20 degrees, but a large crowd of over 1,400 runners was still in Aggieville bright and early for the race. The route begins and ends in Aggieville,
