Amid reports of Kanguva's low run at the box office, Suriya was spotted with his wife Suriya at a temple in Karnataka. The photo of the actor from the temple went viral on social media, with several fans expressing concern for the actor.

Suriya visited a temple in Karnataka with Jyotika, his wife, by his side. Fans, however, were quick to notice that he looked dejected in the photos that were shared online by a tracker. They attributed this to the poor response to Kanguva.
