Many of the deals that Amazon is advertising for its Prime Big Deal Days this month aren't your typical holiday gifts. To be sure, the company describes the sales event as "epic deals ahead of the holiday season" (note the "ahead" here).

In the lead-up to Prime Big Deal Days, Amazon's " October Prime Day " sale on Oct. 8 and 9, the retail giant isn't offering a ton of great deals on 2-in-1 machines — but that's no surprise.
