North Carolina broke its record for turnout on the first day of early voting, the state board of elections announced.

Wait times are often a concern when it comes to early voting, but now two Triad counties have a way for voters to check ahead. Forsyth and Guilford counties have maps where you can check wait times, kind of like amusement parks, to see how long lines are at the polls.
