It seems odd to be congratulating survivor pool contestants for being alive in their respective pools entering Week 3, but after the carnage we saw in the first two weeks, it is a true testament to those who are still competing.

Last week it was the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins, this week features the New England Patriots visiting the New York Jets. Both teams are 1-1, and looking to avoid falling to the back of the pack.

Underdogs rallied in Week 2. After favorites had a strong start to the NFL season in Week 1, underdogs went 11-5 against the spread last week. That shouldn't be too surprising to the many who were knocked out of their survival pools in Week 2.
