Manatee County orders Level A, B evacuations
Manatee County emergency managers have called for evacuations from all Level A and B homes in advance of Hurricane Milton, which is predicted to hit Florida's west coast on Wednesday. Those evacuation orders, issued Sunday, include all those in RVs or mobile homes.

Manatee County officials have ordered mandatory evacuations for residents in levels A, B and C ahead of Hurricane Milton, which is forecast to slam Florida’s Gulf Coast as a major storm. Officials have also urged residents and visitors in mobile homes and recreational vehicles to seek shelter.
Hurricane Milton brought widespread destruction to Florida’s Gulf coast, including Manatee County, just two weeks after Hurricane Helene devastated the region.
