MSU got contributions from plenty others, including a career-best scoring game from freshman Ines Sotelo as it rolled to a 91-71 Big Ten victory over Wisconsin at Breslin Center.

MSU beat the Badgers 91 to 71 behind Grace VanSlooten's 22 points. Theryn Hallock also added 18 points, while Ines Sotelo added 17 points off the bench in the win. Jocelyn Tate also scored 13 points on the night.

Michigan State lost, 71-61, to Michigan on Sunday, dropping its second consecutive game at the Breslin Center.

Nyla Hampton provided an offensive boost in the second half while helping the Michigan State women’s basketball team extend its road winning streak. Hampton knocked down two 3-pointers while scoring eight points in a third quarter that helped the No. 17-ranked Spartans gain some separation on their way to an 89-75 victory over Northwestern.

Despite starting the season unranked and falling to 18-5 on the season after a few frustrating losses at home, the MSU women's basketball team is hanging around in the Top-25 in the latest USA TODAY Sports coaches poll. The Spartans came in at No. 22 this week, down two spots from last week's poll after their recent loss to Michigan.

The rivalry win streak has come to an end for the Michigan State women's basketball team. On an afternoon when they struggled from the field, the No. 20-ranked Spartans suffered a 71-61 loss to Michigan on Sunday at Breslin Center.

After a close loss to Oregon last week, the No. 16 MSU women's basketball team was able to rebound on Sunday and get a nice road win over Northwestern, 89 to 75.
