The photograph of Sen. Josh Hawley (R., Mo.) raising his fist on the Capitol grounds on Jan. 6 in solidarity with Trump supporters has already become an indelible image from the day of the attack.

Less than a week after his slow-motion sprint from the US Capitol during the January 6 riot went viral, Josh Hawley isn’t sorry – for any of it.

Hawley is proud of himself, however, and had the fist-pump photo engraved on coffee mugs. For this latest transition of power, the senator has had to settle for being just another Trump sycophant.
