Eagles sign former Falcons return specialist in free agency
According to a report from The Athletic's Dianna Russini, the Philadelphia Eagles are signing former Atlanta Falcons running back Avery Williams to a one-year contract. The 26-year-old spent last season as Atlanta's starting punt returner.

The Eagles made another low-budget free agency addition Friday, signing 26-year-old running back and returner Avery Williams.
Now 31, Simmons is set to officially become a free agent on Wednesday, when his one-year contract with the Falcons expires.
Simmons was referring to Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio and defensive backs coach Christian Parker. The safety played for both coaches while with the Denver Broncos.
