Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli reunited at the memorial unveiling for their childhood coach Ramakant Achrekar at Shivaji Park. Their meeting, which ended awkwardly, evoked memories of their legendary Harris Shield partnership where they scored 664 runs together.

Vinod Kambli is once again in the news and he met his childhood friend, Sachin Tendulkar on Tuesday (December 3.). He played 17 Test and 104 ODIs. Kambli and Sachin played together for Ramakant Achrekar's academy.

This reunion has sparked a lot of interest and concern among fans, especially since Vinod Kambli has been dealing with health issues in recent years.

Achrekar was honoured with the prestigious Dronacharya Award in 1990 and the Padma Shri in 2010.He passed away in January 2019. Shivaji Park holds historical importance as it witnessed the nurturing of numerous veteran cricketers under the mentorship of Achrekar.
