Janhvi Kapoor has been cast as the female lead, while Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman is composing the tunes. Vriddhi Cinemas, Sukumar Writings, and Mythri Movie Makers are producing RC16. Shiv Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu are playing key roles.
