The Gunners beat PSG 2-0 in the league phase of the Champions League way back at the start of October and it was fairly comfortable for them, although PSG did hit the woodwork twice and showed glimpses of the team they have become.

Merino missed the Gunners’ most recent match - against Crystal Palace last Wednesday - and was a doubt for the first leg of Arsenal’s semi-final against PSG at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday. The Spaniard, however, took part in training on Monday afternoon and is expected to be fit for the game.

Arsenal have been handed a major injury boost after Mikel Merino trained ahead of the first leg of their Champions League semi-final with Paris Saint-Germain. Ben White has also been passed fit for the game at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday. Merino and White missed last Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.
