Prince William has visited Aberdeen to thank the city's homelessness organisations for their work supporting rough sleepers. The Prince of Wales - who is known as the Duke of Rothesay in Scotland - launched his Homewards project last year.

The Prince of Wales, 42, is meeting representatives from homelessness organisations around Aberdeen and will recognise their work to help people who find themselves in the position.

The Prince of Wales set up the William’s Homewards project which aims to develop a blueprint for eradicating homelessness in all its forms over a five year period.
