The Eagles did not practice on Christmas, and had they done so, quarterback Jalen Hurts would not have participated due to the concussion he sustained in a 36-33 loss to the Washington Commanders. Hurts’ status for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys is in question while he is in the concussion protocol.

That's right, for one reason or another, the Eagles actually don't have a quarterback on their practice squad, with all of the weekly reps going to Jalen Hurts, then Kenny Pickett, then Tanner McKee in (probably) that order.

Hurts suffered a concussion midway through the first quarter when he dove forward during a 13-yard run Sunday against the Commanders during the Eagles' 36-33 loss Sunday. Hurts was hit in the helmet by Washington linebacker Frankie Luvu and ordered by the referee to get evaluated for a concussion.
