Pamela Hayden, who has voiced various characters including Bart’s best friend, Milhouse Van Houten, is retiring from the animated show after 35 years, Fox confirmed Wednesday. Hayden’s final episode — titled “Treehouse of Horror Presents: Simpsons Wicked This Way Comes” — will air Sunday, Nov. 24.

Veteran "The Simpsons" voice actor Pamela Hayden will bid farewell to Springfield's Milhouse, Jimbo Jones and all the other characters she helped bring to life for more than three decades. Fox announced Wednesday that Hayden will retire from the hit animated series after 35 years.

Hayden, 70, who voiced Milhouse, Jimbo Jones, Rod Flanders, Janey and Malibu Stacy, will sign off from “The Simpsons” on Nov. 24 in a “Treehouse of Horror” episode.
