Ilkay Gündogan has said Manchester City's trip to Liverpool on Sunday will be "as tough as it's possible to be" after a run of six games without a win.

"Hopefully we can get out of this as quickly as possible and especially when this [game against Liverpool] is such a big game, there's the chance for a boost. We have to perform well first of all, but then we have to try and get something out of the game. That is how we will approach it.
