Matthew Stafford practiced with the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, marking the quarterback’s first workout with the team this preseason after having been unable to do so because of a sore back

It felt like an eternity between the start of Los Angeles Rams training camp and Matthew Stafford’s first practice on Monday. The veteran quarterback had been sidelined by a back injury for nearly a month but he returned to the field for the first time Monday.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford finally practiced. He had yet to participate in any practices in training camp, which began neatly a month ago. Stafford has been dealing with a bad back. He did a little bit of everything on Monday, suiting up in pads, taking snaps, throwing on the run and participating in 11-on-11.
