Liam Gallagher has hit back after Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock branded his band Oasis “boring”. Gallagher and his brother Noel made headlines around the world earlier this year when they announced that they will reunite Oasis next year for their first tour in 15 years.

Imagine an alternate universe in which Glen Matlock played bass for Oasis. Apparently, the Sex Pistols member was offered the opportunity, but that lineup never came to fruition. He wasn’t ever too broken up about missing out on that,

The approach came in the mid–’90s, but Matlock concluded “the last thing they need is someone else standing still”
