Residents of Las Vegas and the surrounding areas spotted a large white streak in the evening sky that prompted speculation online but turned out to be a SpaceX rocket.

Clark County firefighters and other Las Vegas agencies have been requested by the state of California to help with multiple raging wildfires Monday morning. The damage was minimal to the Trump hotel, but a hole could be seen in the ceiling of the valet area and some black smoke remnants on the windows on top of the glass doors leading to the lobby.
