Kaleb Johnson has set single-season school records in points (132), touchdowns (22), and rushing scores (21), and still has one regular-season game to play this Friday against Nebraska.

Iowa junior running back Kaleb Johnson has been honored as a finalist for the 2024 Doak Walker Award, it was announced Tuesday by the PwC SMU Athletic Forum. In its 33rd year, the award is named after SMU’s three-time All-America running back Doak Walker.

Johnson was named as a finalist for the Doak Walker Award. Presented annually to the nation’s most outstanding collegiate running back, the award was created in 1989 and named after the 1948 Heisman Trophy winner from SMU,
