The White House announced on Friday, Oct. 25 that First Lady Jill Biden will be campaigning for Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris in Wisconsin on Sunday, Oct. 27.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz will campaign together Monday in La Crosse. After stopping in Michigan, the two longtime educators will finish the day at an Educators for Harris-Walz event. The Harris-Walz campaign said both women will also encourage early voting.

With the election less than a month away, Jill Biden will become the latest political figure to make a post-Helene appearance in WNC.

Biden, the wife of President Joe Biden, and Walz, the wife of vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, will be in Traverse City and Bay City on Monday. They also will be stopping in Wisconsin after visiting Traverse City. According to the Harris campaign, Biden and Walz are holding Women for Harris-Walz events.

At 3:15 p.m. Friday, Biden will attend a veterans and military families canvass launch for the Harris-Walz campaign in Fayetteville. According to the Harris-Walz campaign, the event is from 2 to 5 p.m.
