San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings hasn't practiced since July 27 due to a calf injury which came less than two weeks after a report surfaced that Jennings wants a new contract and is open to a trade if he isn't compensated adequately.

It does not appear that a Jauan Jennings contract resolution is imminent. The veteran wide receiver, who requested either a new contract or a trade on July 14 before showing up to the beginning of 49ers training camp and re-aggravating a calf injury, remains sidelined well into camp and without a new deal.

There have been a few teams around the NFL that haven’t paid players when theyneeded to. That includes the San Francisco 49ers, who now find themselves inanother terrible position with one of the top players on their roster,
