Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Google released a "Celebrating Gumbo" Doodle ahead of Super Bowl LIX in Louisiana Sunday. The image features a stew bubbling with shrimp and vegetables. A chicken, crab, crawfish, garlic, sausage, celery, onion and peppers surround the steaming pot.

The Google Doodle for Feb. 6 celebrates Louisiana cuisine through gumbo-inspired imagery. Google's gumbo Doodle was featured in light of Louisiana hosting Super Bowl LIX at Caesar's Superdome in New Orleans this Sunday, on Feb. 9.

As New Orleans gears up to host Super Bowl LIX, the search engine used the opportunity to celebrate one of Louisiana's favorite food staples: gumbo. "With all eyes on Louisiana this month, it's the perfect time to savor this iconic dish," Google's informational webpage "About Celebrating Gumbo," reads.
