A man who displayed “fixated behaviour” towards Emma Raducanu was ejected from courtside and banned from all WTA events following her tearful exit from the Dubai Tennis Championships. The British player was in tears and hid behind the umpire’s chair after the second game of her second-round match against Karolina Muchova.

Emma Raducanu was in tears during her Dubai Tennis Championships match on Tuesday as a spectator was removed and banned after displaying ‘fixated behaviour’. The 22-year-old was taking on Karolina Muchova and after falling 2-0 behind in the opening set of the match,

Raducanu was clearly upset as she approached the umpire during the second game in the match, which she lost to Karolina Muchova.
