SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, PENNSYLVANIA— Fresh off a thrilling win over defending 2024 LLWS champion Lake Mary in the Southeast Regional final, Irmo LL of South Carolina cruised past Braintree LL of Massachusetts—the New England Region champion—13-0 in one-hit fashion in each team’s Williamsport opener on Thursday.

South Carolina celebrated its win at the ESPN Big Bracket that sits just outside Lamade Stadium. Sutton Gravelle climbed the ladder to move the Southeast team one spot closer to the championship. Everyone was cheering and singing Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA.”
